In the spirit of the holidays… Soulja Boy Tell’em will perform @ the 6th annual “Toyz N Da Hood” concert in Atlanta on Dec. 19

The event is part of a drive in which area schools donate toys for needy children.

Also catching the Xmas spirit… On Dec 14th rapper Trina will launch her 1st ever “Jingle Bell Toy Drive”

The rapper will collect unwrapped toys and donate them to Miami’s Jackson Hospital

MUSLIM’S PROBLEM W/ BUSTA RHYMES
Busta Rhymes has found himself in trouble again!

WOTS… the rapper’s latest single, “Arab Money,” has started wide spread controversy

WORD IS… Muslim leaders are complaining that the Arabic chant featured in the song is disrespectful to their religion

Busta insists that the song is not poking fun @ the Arabian culture but, in fact, celebrating it.

LIL WAYNE @ THE SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL
At next month’s Sundance Film Festical… Lil’ Wayne will make his debut w/ a new documentary called “The Carter”

Making its world premierre @ the festival’s… “The Carter” will offer fans an inside look @ the mind of the self-proclaimed “Greatest Rapper Alive.”

Set for a showing from January 15-20… Wayne’s movie will also feature Cash Money CEO Bryan “Baby” Williams and Cortez Williams

ANDRE 3000 BEING FOR MILLIONS
WOTS… OutKast’s Andre 3000, along with the Cartoon Network and Turner Broadcasting, are facing a $2 million lawsuit for copyright infringement and breach of contract claims stemming from the rapper’s “Class of 3000” cartoon series

WORD IS… local postal worker Timothy McGee alleges the “characters, artwork, storylines [and] concepts” from the series were all based on his ideas for an earlier project called “The Music Factory.”

According to the lawsuit…  “… Andre ‘3000’ Benjamin was credited with the creation, executive production and starring role in ‘Class of 3000”… The similarities between the expression of Mr. McGee’s work in ‘The Music Factory’ and that of ‘Class of 3000’ are sufficiently detailed and pervasive.”

While Dre’s cartoon debuted November 2006, McGee claims he offered his series pitch to Cartoon Network executive Michael Lazzo in 1997 before being rejected

In addition, McGee has claimed misappropriation of trade secrets and is requesting damages to including all the profits from the show’s two seasons.
